We are part of the Campaign Against the Levels
Motorway (CALM), fighting the Welsh Assembly Government's proposal for a
toll motorway across the Gwent Levels. As well as damaging designated
Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) on the Gwent Levels, Friends
of the Earth believes the motorway would only encourage more vehicle
journeys, adding extra climate changing CO2 to our atmosphere.
Help with any of these campaigns would be very
welcome, as would volunteers to run other campaigns.
